Derman Verbakel Architecture is currently developing groundbreaking plans for important urban sites across Israel. We specialize in architecture and urban design, with expertise in urban renewal, open space planning, public buildings, residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments.
OUR OFFICE was established by architects Els Verbakel and Elie Derman in New York in 2001 and since then has developed a strong portfolio of urban and architectural projects. We aspire to initiate new perspectives , inviting clients and end-users to engage in a joint effort approach urban environments in Israel and ways of looking at projects with fresh eyes.
OUR WORK ranges from urban design, urban planning, landscape architecture to public buildings and housing, as well as academic research. We are committed to providing the highest professional standards placing excellence, innovation and leadership at the center of our practice.
Our list of clients includes the Israeli Ministry of Urban Regeneration, the municipalities of Tel Aviv, Haifa, Jerusalem, Beer Sheva, Eilat, Herzliya, Holon, Rishon Lezion, Ramat Gan, Bat Yam, Ashkelon, Tiberias, Lod, Kiryat Gat, Givat Shmuel and others. The Belgian Embassy in Israel, a number of local municipalities in Belgium and other private and commercial customers such as Shafir, Azorim, Aura, Reality fund, Fifty Four Investments and others.
